Zusammenfassung

Die Unterteilung der T-Zellen basiert im Wesentlichen auf der Analyse ihres Zytokinprofils. Neben den zwei klassischen Effektortypen, denen die Mehrzahl der antigenstimulierten T-Helfer-Zellen zugeordnet werden kann (TH1- und TH2-Typ), wurden als weitere TH-Effektor-Zellen TH3-Zellen identifiziert, die TGF-b, IL-4 und IL-10 sezernieren und eine zentrale Rolle bei der oralen Toleranzinduktion spielen. Die Entdeckung von regulatorischen T-Zellen (Tr1), die IL-10 und TGF-b produzieren und damit ausgeprägte immunsuppressive Eigenschaften besitzen, führte zu einem neuen Konzept der Regulation entzündlicher Reaktionen.

Subdivision of T-cells bases essentially on the analysis of the cytokine profile. Apart from the two classical effector types, to which the majority of antigen-stimulated T-helper cells belongs (TH1 and TH2 type), further TH-effector cells, the TH3-cells, were identified. They secret TGF-b, IL-4 and IL-10 and play a central role in the oral tolerance induction. The discovery of regulatory T-cells (Tr1), which produce IL-10 and TGF-b with marked immunsuppressive capabilities, leads to a new concept of the regulation of inflammatory reactions.
