Additional information

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Met. Eng. from the Colorado School of Mines, he earned an M.S. Degree in Mech. Eng. from Ariz. State Univ., and a Ph.D. in Met. Eng. from Case Inst, of Technology. Dr. Claxton has been primarily involved in the development of melting technology for Alcoa Laboratories since 1970.
