Abstract

The Charles H. Herty, Jr. Award is presented for the best paper presented at the annual National Open Hearth and Basic Oxygen Steel Conference, and published in the Conference Proceedings. The award was established in 1960 to honor Charles H. Herty, Jr., distinguished physical chemist working in the field of iron and steel technology.
