Riassunto

La crioconservazione del seme e del tessuto testicolare ha assunto in questi ultimi anni un’importanza sempre maggiore nella gestione dei pazienti affetti da patologie neoplastiche o autoimmuni che si sottopongono a trattamenti in grado di indurre sterilità permanente o temporanea, nonché dei pazienti affetti da azoospermia secretoria o escretoria. Vista l’importanza della sfera riproduttiva in pazienti molto spesso giovani e senza prole, è indispensabile che tale tecnica venga consigliata dagli specialisti e che ogni regione si attrezzi per assicurare tale opzione nel modo più rapido ed efficiente possibile.
