Trombofilia del diabete: un target della terapia?

Riassunto

Ipazienti diabetici hanno una alta incidenza di eventi cardiovascolar i. Giacché è noto che questa condizione si accompagna a uno stato di trombofilia, si ritiene quindi che nel diabete vi sia la presenza di una diatesi trombofilica. Vari studi confermano questa ipotesi, come pure che l’iperglicemia giochi un ruolo centrale in questo fenomeno. Al momento mancano studi di intervento specifici, a eccezione di quelli condotti con aspirina, allo scopo di ottenere un’efficace antiaggregazione piastrinica. I dati sono a favore di una strategia antiaggregante piastrinica nel diabete, sia in prevenzione secondaria sia primaria.
