Riassunto

Per la semplicità dell’apparecchiatura richiesta e per l’immediatezza delle immagini che fornisce, l’ecografia è l’unica tra le diagnostiche per immagini che si è estesa oltre le strette competenze radiologiche, entrando a far parte delle metodologie usate nella pratica clinica quotidiana in molte branche specialistiche come la medicina interna, la chirurgia, la gastroenterologia e l’endocrinologia. È importante che l’esecutore sia prima di tutto un buon clinico, in quanto l’esame è operatore-dipendente e presuppone un rapporto diretto con il paziente.
