Some Aspects in Emil Wiechert’s Scientific Work

Abstract

Some extracts from Emil Wiechert’s publications and letters relating to geophysics and physics are presented as to give some idea of his contribution to this subject during the 19th and 20th centuries. These are set in context with other contemporary geophysical and seismological research.
