Abstract

W hat is the objective of the study? What is the perspective of the study? What are the relevant alternative interventions? These 3 aspects of pharmacoeconomic studies keep ‘popping up’ whenever the issue of conducting credible research arises. Their importance was again emphasised at a conference organised by IBC entitled ‘Pharmacoeconomics: Techniques and Applications [ Philadelphia, US; May 1994 ]
