Abstract

P harmacoeconomics is an important tool in analysing the benefits of medications in relation to their economic impact. There is an increasing demand for such information, with the number of pharmacoeconomic studies being conducted and published significantly rising in the past decade. As the body of pharmacoeconomic studies expands, two major areas of concern arise: the soundness of the research conducted and the interpretation of study results.
