Abstract

M ost disease management programmes that have been implemented in the US to date have failed, remarked Dr Marcus Wilson, president and director of Health Outcome Measures, Health Core Inc., US, at the 33rd annual meeting of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists [ Las Vegas, US; December 1998 ]. He and several other speakers discussed current and emerging trends for outcomes management.
