In 1985 Amgen granted Johnson & Johnson (J&J) a license to market epoetin alfa in the US for all indications other than anemia associated with chronic kidney disease. J&J markets epoetin alfa under the brand name Procrit®.
Scientists group hepatitis C viruses into six major genetic categories called genotypes.
