The Adrian Salter Lecture is delivered annually to the Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine, and is Dr Salter’s bequest. The 2007 lecture was delivered on the 20th birthday of the Society, and at its birthplace, the Royal College of Physicians of London. This account is to be regarded as reportage, and not to represent the opinions or policies of GlaxoSmithKline.
