Abstract

Within the framework of the courier, sameday-and emergency logistics, so called “on board couriers” personally accompany urgently required spare parts, valuable goods samples or confidential documents until they reach their destination and to the end of the world if desired by the customer. The requests are coordinated by a “Special Service Desk” which resembles an expert's head office rather than a regular call center.
