Zusammenfassung

Ein gelungenes Beispiel für den Serieneinsatz des Leichtbau-Verbundwerkstoffes CFK (Kohlefaserverstärkte Kunststoffe) ist das Dach des BMW M3 CSL in Sichtoptik. CFK bietet sowohl hohe Gewichtsvorteile als auch gute Crasheigenschaften. Im Folgenden wird dokumentiert, dass die Fügetechnologie Kleben einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Realisierung dieses Sondermodells von BMW leistet.
