Zusammenfassung

Um zu verhindern, dass umweltbelastende Kohlenwasserstoffe durch die Behälterwand von Kraftstofftanks aus Kunststoff dringen, werden die Tanks schon seit Jahren fluoriert. VW setzt nun erstmals das „Kryofluorieren“ in der Serienfertigung ein. Es soll nicht nur für wirksamere und langzeitbeständigere Sperrschichten sorgen, sondern auch einen sicher reproduzierbaren Fertigungsprozess gewährleisten.
