In the automotive industry in particular, with its high levels of automation and huge follow-on costs in the event of production standstills, care must be taken to ensure that this demand is met. Siemens’ Industrial Wireless LAN technology, which is in practical use with a host of car manufacturers and suppliers, is evidence that this is the case.
