Abstract

Mastering complexity of Electric/Electronics (E/E) architectures is one of the challenges of the automotive industry. Software sharing is an enabler to handle increasing complexity of future systems. AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture (Autosar) provides the methodology, standardised infrastructure and application interfaces for efficient software sharing. Autosar is an enabler for innovation in occupants and other road user’s safety, reduction of fuel consumption, driving comfort and fun.
