Abstract
By developing the Engine Sound System, Mahle Filtersysteme has succeeded in presenting a system for the design of the sound character in the cabin of passenger cars. This measure provides an acoustic emphasis on driving dynamics, thus offering a new sound design option for turbocharged diesel engines.
