Integrated system simulation applied to turbocharged diesel engines

Abstract

A simulation procedure focused on the analysis of the turbocharger control system in current and future production diesel engines has been developed by GM Powertrain. This tool can replace some test bench tests with computer simulation in the development process and in component tolerance design.
