Reducing evaporative emissions to zero

Abstract

Plastic fuel tanks made with a six-layer skin are already effective in limiting fuel evaporation, but a new manufacturing approach developed by TI Automotive at its Technology Centre in Rastatt, Germany, will cut those emissions in half in the 2004 Land Rover Discovery.
