Audi set to follow Ford in use of CGI for diesels

Abstract

Engineers at Audi are developing their next high performance diesel engine — a 3-litre V6 with a CGI cylinder block. A race is on to beat the launch of Ford’s new V6 Lion diesel to be built at Dagenham, UK.
