Abstract

The safety concept for the new Volkswagen Polo introduces new standards in this class. The starting point for the development of this concept was Volkswagen’s policy to maintain an exceptionally high level of safety standards — standards which are more demanding even than those prescribed by existing laws and foreseeable developments.
