Abstract
If a car manufacturer uses the Autosar standard to develop software functions, uniform architecture specifications and a central E / E data backbone are among the crucial factors that will determine the success of the project. In this article, BMW and Capgemini will show how to develop a good application architecture, the role played by centralized data management when dealing with development artifacts and the possibilities for actively supporting the rollout of Autosar in the development departments.
