Abstract

42,000 people die in traffic accidents every year in Europe. In future, wireless networking of road users should lead to improved safety on the streets. This makes high demands on radio technology, the performance of which can be investigated using radio channel emulation in the laboratory. Gigacomp describes the area of developments.
