Abstract

The demand for reliable, high-accuracy, long-lifetime, low-power, miniature light sources bulbs is on the rise. Styling trends and the competition for space under the hood or in the boot create constraints in fields of overall light source compactness, accessibility and low heat dissipation. Additionally, the cost pressure dictates the need for low-effort design-ins, easy connectivity and reusability of basic building blocks. Philips addresses these challenges with distinct solutions unlocking the value potential of the refined applications.
