Abstract

Non-reproducible electronic problems, which leave no other trace than an entry in the error log, influence a driver's trust in his vehicle. The possibilities range from radios that can be switched on after turning on ignition but will only produce sound after re-booting. They also include vehicle-integrated cell phones that temporarily cease to function. This Agilent Technologies paper discusses error causes and strategies for the testing of FlexRay networks.
