Abstract

Using services and functions such as radio and TV reception, mobile radio, satellite navigation, radiocontrolled central locking or remote starting of the stationary heater requires around ten antennas, which are typically completely integrated in the vehicle body. Until now, these antennas could only be used on glass. A new technology from Hirschmann Car Communication now enables them to be integrated in plastic body parts.
