Abstract
The installation spaces of modern operating systems have decreased to give way to more freedom in interior design. These systems are becoming thinner and thinner, thus saving space. As a result, the power and control electronics are decoupled from the operating elements per se and are positioned separately. Therefore, Preh has developed a universal control device for “small domains” in modern client-server-based network architectures of automobiles.
