Abstract
In cooperation with AVL List GmbH, the universities of Darmstadt, Karlsruhe and Graz developed a seamless modelling concept for longitudinal vehicle dynamics that covers the determination of modelling depth, the information retrieval, the result quality, the model transparency and the usability of powertrain model components. This concept enables the creation of a consistent chain of real-time capable simulation models that make vehicle simulation possible on several different test beds during the development process.
