Zusammenfassung

Für das Gemeinschaftsprojekt Smart Forfour und Mitsubishi Colt entwickelte Mercedes-Benz aus einem Vierzylinder-Dieselmotor der A-Klasse eine Dreizylindervariante. Dieser Dieselmotor ermöglicht sehr gute Fahrleistungen bei niedrigem Kraftstoffverbrauch. Die Topvariante mit 70 kW markiert derzeit den leistungsstärksten Dreizylinder-Pkw-Dieselmotor der Welt.
