Zusammenfassung

Für Ottomotoren mit strahlgeführtem Brennverfahren hat Siemens VDO Automotive ein neues Benzindirekteinspritzsystem entwickelt, zu dessen Komponenten ein neuartiger, nach außen öffnender Injektor auf Piezo-Basis gehört. Die Dynamik und Strahlaufbereitung dieses Piezo-Injektors erlauben eine deutliche Ausweitung des kraftstoffsparenden Schichtbetriebs und leistet damit einen Beitrag speziell zur CO2-Emissionsabsenkung.
