Abstract

SCR technology is the main strategy being pursued in order to comply with future NOx limits on the European, US and Japanese passenger car markets. Apart from a sound base of experience, the optimum design of SCR systems also requires the use of innovative development tools. Emcon Technologies Germany sets great store by virtual design optimisation using CFD simulation combined with validation on the basis of a specially adapted measuring technique.
