Abstract

In order that the systems which in future will be necessary for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in diesel-engined vehicles are protected against wear and failure, the use of filters to clean the urea-water solution is necessary for all the known SCR systems on the market. Mann+Hummel has developed and patented various SCR/urea filters, with efficient filters, compact dimensions and long service life. The spectrum ranges from different metal-free filter elements to complex urea filter elements with integrated heating and sensors.
