Der neue 1,8-l-Vierzylinder-Ottomotor für Opel-Automobile

Zusammenfassung

Mit Einführung des neuen Opel Zafiras im Sommer dieses Jahres wird der neu entwickelte 1,8-l-Ottomotor der mittleren Motorenfamilie erstmalig angeboten. Der Motor ist der zweite Vertreter der 2003 präsentierten neuen Generation 3 und zeichnet sich durch seine hervorragende Leistungscharakteristik in Verbindung mit deutlich reduziertem Kraftstoffverbrauch aus. Durch Integration zweier variabler Nockenwellenversteller und eines neu entwickelten Ansaug- und Abgassystems konnte die Leistung auf 103 kW und das Drehmoment auf 175 Nm erhöht werden. Der MVEG-Verbrauch reduzierte sich um 4 %.
