Zusammenfassung

Bei der Entwicklung von Hybridfahrzeugen entscheiden sich Automobilhersteller meist aus Kostengründen gegen die Verwendung eines Dieseltriebwerks und für den Einsatz eines Benzinaggregats. Hyndai-Kia hat auf Basis eines 1,6-l-Vierzylinder-Ottomotors eine weitere Alternative entwickelt. Im Elantra wird erstmals ein Hybridantrieb eingebaut, dessen Verbrennungsmotormotor Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) nutzt.
