Zusammenfassung

Der Trend zu immer ver brauchsärmeren Fahrzeugantrieben führt verstärkt zum Einsatz von Dreizylindermotoren. Denn konzeptbedingt sind mit einem aufgeladenen Dreizylinder motor gegenüber einem leistungsgleichen Vierzylindermotor Kraftstoffeinsparungen möglich. Auf Anfrage der MTZ stellt Volkswagen, Pionier dieses Antriebskonzepts, die aktuelle Entwicklungsrichtung vor.
