Zusammenfassung

Strenge Abgasnormen erfordern innovative Gemischbildungskonzepte. Schwerpunkt der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Charakterisierung der zyklischen Schwankungen des Strömungs- und Mischungsfeldes eines Ottomotors mit Direkt einspritzung. Zu diesem Zweck wurde ein realer Viertaktmotor mit variablem Tumble-System mit Hilfe der Grobstruktursimulation untersucht. Die Arbeiten fanden am Institut für Energie- und Kraftwerkstechnik der Technischen Universität Darmstadt im Rahmen des FVV-Forschungsvorhabens Nr. 896 statt.
