Abstract
Following the R 1200 GS, BMW is now launching its second all-new motorcycle in 2004: the K 1200 S. BMW is focusing on the requirements of the demanding motorcycle rider in terms of ergonomics, handling and performance as the most important guidelines in creating this new generation. The highlights in technology of the new motorcycle are the compact, powerful and re-configured engine, BMW Duolever front-wheel suspension featured for the first time on a series production motorcycle, and ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) available as an option.
