Abstract

The automotive industry has for a long time been looking for brake disks that last for the lifetime of the vehicle. Achieving this goal requires a disk material that has distinctly better characteristics regarding thermal cracking and general wear. This article from the Technische Universität Berlin discusses a possible solution.
