Abstract

Many leading vehicle manufacturers (OEM’s) have implemented optical bus systems for the transmission of multimedia data for automotive applications. Tyco Electronics offers a broad range of proven and highly qualified component technology which is available to the global OEM marketplace and fully compatible with the specified automotive requirements. Our practical experience and knowledge is also beneficial in supporting the development of further automotive bus systems such as IEEE/Fire Wire (IDB-1394).
