Abstract
Hybrid vehicle designs can vary greatly. In order to cover the complete variance of individual applications, Siemens VDO Automotive has opted for a system with a toolbox of modules for hybrid designs. The first two stages of this hybrid toolbox have been completed on the background of practical experience stemming from joint projects with vehicle manufacturers and are being used for demonstration cars. This paper reports on the current stage of development and gives an outlook on the next development steps to come.
