Abstract

By using aluminium casting for chassis parts, weight reductions of approx. 25–35 % compared to ferrous metals can be obtained. KSM Castings (formerly Thyssen-Krupp Fahrzeugguss) has an expertise in various casting processes, thus being able to offer the suitable solution for every application in the chassis area.
