Abstract

Modern vehicles are expected to deliver high levels of NVH comfort. A focus on individual problem areas addressed by conventional solutions is no longer adequate. The following article by Intier Automotive Näher’s acoustic centre describes how comprehensive acoustic evaluations of the total vehicle and new material developments allow the desired NVH comfort as well as significant weight and cost savings to be achieved.
