Zusammenfassung

Um das Einsatzspektrum von Stahltechnologien und -produkten zu erweitern, arbeitet die Forschung der ThyssenKrupp Stahl AG bei der Entwicklung innovativer Lösungen eng mit den Konzeptplanern und -entwicklern in den Automobilunternehmen zusammen. Dieser Beitrag stellt Ergebnisse der Studie ULSAB-AVC (AVC: Advanced Vehicle Concept) bezüglich Tailored Tubes vor. Tailored Tubes sind maßgeschneiderte, laserstrahlgeschweißte Spezialprofile aus oberflächenveredeltem Flachstahl.
