Zusammenfassung

Der smart ist der erste Vertreter eines völlig neuen Fahrzeugkonzepts. Bei kleinstem Raumbedarf soll er neue Maβstäbe bei Ökologie, Sicherheit und Individualität setzen. Entstanden ist eine konsequente Neukonstruktion, die sich von bisherigen Traditionen löst. In diesem Beitrag sind der Entwicklungsprozess sowie die Konstruktionsmerkmale des smart beschrieben.
