Abstract
Constantly changing production volumes, small lot sizes and an increasing variety of versions also have an influence on electronics manufacturing. Siemens Electronics Assembly Systems GmbH & Co. KG (SEAS), Munich, has reacted to this situation by presenting “Siplace SX”, the world’s first placement machine designed entirely for build-to-order processes.
