Abstract
The combination of a number of technologies on a single machine makes the system and the process more complex, but the consistent implementation and integration of further technologies allows the user to tap into a considerable potential for rationalisation. Combination machines from the manufacturer Emag for hard turning and grinding are used not only for chucked parts but also increasingly for shafts for engines and transmissions.
