Abstract
With their Hydrostatic Regenerative Braking System (HRB) Rexroth combines the advantages of hybrid concepts with the high power density of hydraulic accumulators for economical use in commercial vehicles and mobile machines. The result: Fuel savings of up to 25 percent with corresponding reductions in CO2 emissions. The system is based on off-the-shelf and modified components and requires only slight modifications to existing drive trains. This makes the HRB ideal for new equipment or retrofitting vehicle fleets.
