Der Automobilzulieferer Faurecia hat mit seiner Studie „Light Attitude“ den aktuellen Stand der Leichtbauweise vereint und in die Zukunft projiziert. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt, welche Gewichtseinsparung im Cockpit noch möglich ist und mit welchen Mitteln sie erreicht werden kann.

Abstract

The „Light Attitude“ prototype from automotive supplier Faurecia combines current lightweight build methods whilst giving us a glimpse of the future: how much weight can we still remove from the cockpit — and which tools can we use to achieve this?
