Zusammenfassung

Heutzutage werden über 90 % der Kraftstoffsysteme in Europa aus Kunststoff hergestellt. Bei der Produktion von Kunststoff-Kraftstoffbehältern hat die konventionelle Blasformtechnologie ihr maximales Potenzial erreicht. Mit dem Next Generation Fuel System (NGFS) entwickelte Kautex Textron ein Halbschalen-Verfahren, das die Produktion von Kunststoff-Kraftstoffbehältern vereinfacht und die Integration von Komponenten und komplexen Funktionen innerhalb des Kraftstoffbehälters ermöglicht.
